Lisa Mills is a gifted singer, guitarist and songwriter whose blues drenched and soulfully delivered original music is clearly grounded in her Mississippi roots.

Lisa grew up in Hattiesburg, beginning her singing career in the church that her grandparents actually built. Gospel was her first musical love and still is deeply embedded in her music. Lisa Mills is definitely a free spirit and music is her passion. She has been compared to the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Janis Joplin, Etta James, but Lisa has her own unique style of music and is not an imitation of anyone. To those who have heard her and know her best, her unparalleled talent is compared to many but is matched by few.

Lisa has recently been recording with the UK band The Big Town Playboys for their new album along with Jeff Beck , Andy Fairweather-Low, Robert Plant and Jools Holland.

Lisa has become a regular visitor to Europe appearing at the famous Bergen Blues Festival in Norway, Glastonbury and other UK folk and blues festivals. Whenever she is in the UK her tours sell out and before long she has to come back again to satisfy demand. Hand-picked by none other than Robert Plant to support his tours of the USA and Europe, this has to be one of the most sought after acts on the blues scene and in the words of the oracle, “You should all check her out, she has a wonderful voice” Robert Plant
