Dalai Lama with Ngawang Lodup at the O2 Arena, London

On 19 September His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama gave his talk “Compassion: The Foundation of Well-Being” at the O2 Arena in London in the presence of over 10,000 members of the public. Ngawang Lodup performed on stage alongside His Holiness at this amazing event, singing a song he had specially composed for the occasion. His Holiness showed his warm appreciation in a quiet exchange of feelings, hugging Ngawang and placing a silk robe around his shoulders.
Afterwards, an emotional Ngawang said “I feel blessed, honoured & very humbled to have performed for His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the O2 in London.The reaction from the audience was amazing. Thank you to everyone for the support and good wishes.His Holiness is an inspiration both to Tibetans and to the world. I wish a long life to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.”
