Savoy Family Cajun Band, Secret gig. - 07.10.11
When they were on tour in the UK last July the Savoy's were invited by The Sage Gateshead to play in Newcastle upon Tyne's most hidden location, The Secret Garden, tucked way up some old stone steps near the famous Tyne Bridge. A sell-out gig in Bristol last night to a warm and appreciative crowd has set things up nicely for tonights visit to Southampton University. Sain Zahoor's tour reached Brighton last night where he played to a full house at the World Sacred Music Festival.With would-be attenders turned away there is still chance to catch him during the week. Tickets are available for tonight in Swindon but the Nottingham gig tomorrow has also sold out. After months of intense planning our tour with Sufi master Sain Zahoor began on 28 September with an incredible performance at Trancender, in The Barbican, London.
